So the Bodyline Model Search Contest is a total scam.

During the previous bodyline modeling contest, one girl from livejournal won and was accepted to go to Japan. I’ve spoken to her on MSN, and she told me a lot about the contest that she didn’t say online, because she’s afraid. When she got to Japan, Mr. Yan (the owner of bodyline) was very creepy to her; trying to touch her, trying to show off to her, even trying to get her to come back to hotels with him. After her photos were taken and she was preparing to go back home, Mr. Yan called the girl and told her he was in love with her. He asked her to marry him, and to stay in Japan. When the girl said no, Mr. Yan said “you don’t have to be like a real wife. You can have boyfriends, but you have to let me have sex with you.” Mr. Yan is a grown man, probably in his late 40’s. This girl is 18.

Bodyline is not looking for models. Bodyline is holding a worldwide search so that the owner can have a foreign sex toy.

Emphasis mine. Please spread the word. Tell anyone and everyone you think knows about it, and even people who you think don't or won't care. DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU KNOW OR EVEN DON'T KNOW ENTER THIS CONTEST.

And as an act of solidarity, I would suggest a BOYCOTT of all things Bodyline: Do not buy their clothing, visit their web site, encourage the purchase of their clothing, get their catalog*, visit their stores*, ANYTHING. Let them know we are aware and we are fighting back!

I reiterate: DO NOT ENTER. DO NOT ENCOURAGE ENTERING. TELL YOUR FRIENDS, TELL YOUR ENEMIES.

* I actually don't know if Bodyline has catalogs or stores (I'm not not about to go check their website to find out.), but in the event that they do, fuck 'em.

EDIT There are, of course, rumors that all this is just trolling and BS, and should it end up that way, I will certainly pitch this stuff and say forget it, false alarm. But if it's true, I definitely think passing the info around is the best thing we can do right now. Even if it isn't true, better safe than sorry.
